Don't get too optimistic here. The recent run-up may be overdone. I bought some may55 puts today to hedge my position. I still think that it will retreat after earning.

I'm out of touch with the news today, so hadn't heard. I have noticed the stock and clearly it's positive.

Joe Nacchio, CEO of Qwest, mentioned Ciena today and said they can have all the legacy systems. That's not Qwest's market. They're building from the ground up. Sounds good to me.
