Philip, I guess the real point is related to the following:

What will the stock's price be next year at this time? Lets face it, any investment is a risk and there are many different points of view as related to the company's future.

Philip Davis quotes from a previous post:

>>It's my experience that three companies working together are not as
efficient as a single company with all the required resources;ie, Sony.
I just think that Sony has a better chance at success than the other
three companies.<<

As we all know, Iomega will have maybe 18 - 20 million Zips and about 2 million Jaz drives out there by the time Hifd arrives. That is one hell of an installed base. But beyond that, that's 20 million folks with removable disk drives already on board in one form or another. What is the liklihood that these people are going to junk their Zips (or Jazs) and buy a Sony drive? Pretty close to zero. The easily tapped market for removable drives is pretty small, thanks to Zip and Jaz and all the others. THATS what Sony is up against (among lots of other things) and it ain't gonna be so easy.
