R Murphey:
I agree totally. As we speak i just bought 700 more shares at
17 1/4. I already held 3,000 shares from down in the 12's but I bought this 700 now for 2 reasons. 1st, I believe I may be able to make an easy point or more overnight..or when UTI reports earnings. But secondly, and more toward your point, I feel this company has soo much going for them longer term that I think I will be happy I bought the 700 shares at 17 1/4 6 months from now no matter what happens to UTI in the next month or so. I keep going back in my mind to that Solomon report recenlty where they lowered the EPS estimates to 20 cents for this quarter but kept 1998 and 1999 numbers the same as before based on this new aquisition offsetting current weaknesses. Solomon put a price target of 30 on this baby and i don't need anywhere near that to be doing real well. I do, however, feel that 30 is very realistic and I believe we will have hit the 40 mark by this time next year. A far cry from 17 1/4!!
