TO ALL:

Patience will pay off on this issue. Read the recent earnings report carefully and you will see a company that is gearing up for quality performance. Ignore the day trading and any quibbling about the shelf position of their products in a HomeDepot in Xville and concentrate on the day by day growth. Also, remember that quite a number of their products are made for private labels.

Can you trade PTCH on Datek? I thought that Datek didn't allow you to trade stocks under $5? I thought I read that somewhere?

That is not correct. You can trade stocks under $5 with Datek including PTCH. The only stocks Datek does not deal in and has clearly stated they have no intention of trading are bulletin board stocks and pink sheets.

But as long as your stock is NASDAQ Small Cap, NMS, just plain old NASDAQ, or is listed on NYSE or AMEX, they'll trade it. All NASDAQ orders that are non-marketable, ie. inside the spread, are instantly routed to the ISLAND ECN, where your order jumps to the front of the line. On Level II you'll see your order represented by ISLD instantly as the best bid or the best ask. And you just took the greedy pig MM spreads away from them and became your own MM. It's a good feeling IMO.
