The two upgrades today SEEK and XCIT have corrected from highs of 95 and 45 to 64 and 32 respectively; pretty decent pullbacks.

I used to hate First Boston for some of their calls, but have learned to respect their opinions more. I take that back . I still hate em.

Bald one, it's because the analysts keep changing firms. When they get to the new firm, they "initiate coverage", but in reality no one has changed their mind or formed a new opinion. The ones the other day - was it Morgan Stanley? - were issued by an analyst that covered the same companies at Cowen & Co.

BTW, it looks like the market is getting concerned about what might be hiding behind the big note sale announcement at AMZN. Anybody know any offshore investors that might get a look at the deal?

Even the mighty YHOO gave back this morning's gains.
