Concurrent Computer <CCUR.O> sees "stronger" Q4

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., April 30 (Reuters) - Concurrent Computer Corp. Thursday reported more than a 50 percent decline in third quarter earnings per share but said it expects a more robust fourth quarter.

"We expect our fourth quarter to be stronger, both in real-time sales and the beginning of our video-on-demand revenue stream," E. Courtney Siegel, company chairman, said in a statement.

The company reported $0.07 per share profits in its prior fourth quarter. A First Call consensus forecast for the fourth quarter was not available.

The company reported $0.02 per share profits in its third quarter ended March 31, compared to $0.05 a year earlier.

Concurrent, based in Fort Lauderdale, provides real-time computer systems and software.
