Agree the thin client area is a fascinating test case for MSFT technology. Can a closed system beat an open one in thin client? Think if MSFT really had well demonstrated superior technology then maybe would have a chance. Can arrogance and bloatware carry the day? Inelegance win against simplicity? Crashes vs reliability? Higher expense for maintenance vs less? Not likely IMO so just a matter of time for MSFT to fail here as it has elsewhere when even a modicum of free and unfettered competition was possible. Role of Citrix crucial IMO - in theory Citrix will be supporting both closed (MSFT) and open systems. Well worth watching closely and learning. All this IMO and not a MSFT fan I freely admit. Chaz

One things for sure, desktop PC makers won't like Windows Terminal Server if it becomes too popular.
