Chartist on cnbc is saying we are seeing a major reverse head and shoulders bottom for crude oil. He says we may go a bit lower in the next 1 or 2 months, and then a major bull market.

Hey guys dont get too thin skinned.

I'm mostly a lurker and hate to see two of the main contributors to the thread get in each other's faces. I'm mostly a long term player , but the TA stuff is handy even there when getting ready to take a position for the long haul. I dont understand what makes the TA work. Maybe its just that so many people believe it it works. Who cares. The Bollinger bands, and P&F stuff seem to work more ofetn than not so its a tool. Sometimes it doesn't, like GLM finally breaks 26 a month or so ago which was the magic resistance on all the charts, and it promptly falls back into the 22-25 trading range.

Point is every post is just someone's opinion and its good to have some variety. Keep it coming.

NEW HIGH: Newpark Resources (NR). Closed at 24.0625 (previous 52-week high: 23.75). (Question: why has this outfit attracted so little attention on this thread?)

As for CRLBF, it was up almost 10% at one point, but then petered out, ending with a gain of "only" 3.18%, 1/8 of a point shy of a new high. Dang! Just once, just once, I'd like to have a stock in my portfolio go up 10% in a single day. I know it would probably go down again the following day, but it would be a nice experience. (I don't buy internet stocks.)
