<<Yet,it seems shareholders haven't filled suit for the obvious lies.>> This seems just as incredulous as the fact that these sorry shareholders are still stuck in the same kind of a denial mindset...at least a year after anybody with even a modest amount of common sense could have seen not only the the writing on the wall , but more like a giant billboard telling them that something is indeed wrong here.... I still monitor this board on occasion, and even though I'm not a shareholder..still find the story interesting. I must say that there was great hilarity reading the posts on AOL a few months back. Only three posters: [Alex, Nhiem, and the Waacko Kid!]. For anybody that still thinks this is a good investment, if one possessed the common sense to take their losses in MPEG two years ago, invest in the DOW..They would be up about double their money by now. This doesn't even account for the losses incurred by having "dead money" throughout this blazing stock market. I see my MPEG experience as all positive. It taught me many lessons, and I know I am a much different investor now. I made & lost some money trading MPEG and finally sold @ $3.50 a couple of years ago. Put my capital to work in the bull market of the last two years..and have made more profits than I would have, even if MPEG turned out to be the "10 bagger" that the hypesters were promoting at the time. I won't even go into the details of the company...They are too obvious to anybody that has been following the story. And even with the dropping-down of an angel from heaven [in the form of a disgruntled engineer], this strange cult of "investors" still can't face the truth. Yeh sure...George is designing the new NBC digital studios around the Gecko chip. Where do you think George will be working next..after he gives MPEG the nod over IBM, SONY,CUBE, etc, etc, and this with his conflict of interest being an MPEG shareholder no less. Why haven't the bulls even commented on the seemingly massive legal troubles that MPEG is entangled in at present? RICO statutes! Las Vegas incorporation...No local venture capital money, shady mergers, timetables that come and go, and a sad fact that is hard to argue with: The stock price. This stock price is derived from the research and opinions of literally millions of investors, and is representative of the current true value of the company. The market doesn't lie, unlike the following [unqualified] statement that is the hallmark of this thread...Subject 8325 "'DVImpact is two years ahead of any other products on the horizon,'Koz [The President and CEO] said." 9/20/96
