There will be some speculators driving the price of this stock up which it should then settle from. But a 3 cents profit in another circumstance would be considered terrible. Informix has just beginning to establish a new track record with the market and so far in actuality they only have had a just above break even to show for it. While this lend some credence to the previous quarters earnings report, this is still nothing to brag about. Also Informix is not demonstrating good quarter-to-quarter growth yet which is what the market looks for. What about pulling in good sales contracts from significant companies that utilizes this US product in a substantial installation? There have been previous press releases to this effect, but IMO all of that needs to be discarded since the company lost much credibility with the market and their customers and now new management is in place. This is one of many types of evidence that the market is looking for before they can be convinced that this company is either well on their way in turning around and developing a very positive new track record with the market.

Trina: 33% upside in next 2 months (~ [7.75 - 5.81]/5.81) because of the expected pre-earnings run-up (3 quarters in a row +ve surprises) ... I'm baffled as to "what gives?" .... why folks are not realizing this and why this has not started moving up yet?? Any idea?

regards to all,
-/Sonny.

btw. I'm sure the large short position would provide the necessary cushion at the bottom, and after the fire is lit up, it may spike up substantially ... but, what would be that catalyst, in the coming weeks, which will start that up move?
