what hostility!, you must have bought above 40!... Shorts are nowhere to be found, as you can tell I am the only one here. But daytraders ARE in it heavy, and you will feel that very strongly tomorrow if SEEK doesnt come up with something really sweet to satisfy the Street.

Good Luck

I'm sick of listening to your butt speak. It's the shorts pulling down the stock and the daytraders. Why don't you go hang out and prey on some other site. You remind me of a vulture.

Calvin, I'm on your side, but I think Country Boy/Girl is one of the more civil shorts around. Yes, he/she is heavy on the rhetoric, but we do need at least one token short on the board, and I could think of worse ones to have around.

A severe crash in SEEK would leave me with a mere 20% gain on the stock. That's a pretty comfortable downside. In five years when SEEK's trading at $225 (50% compounded annual growth) these little discussions will seem quaint.

Shorts do not pull a stock down. In fact, in some stocks, it is only the shorts that keep them up (think K-tel, for example.) Momentum traders drive a stock up, and only drive it down when they move on to the next stock. So your statement that the shorts and daytraders are pulling this stock down is illogical. And considering how much Seek is up, your complaining at all is rather greedy. It is important to have both short and long opinions represented on these boards, otherwise they are meaningless rah rah clubs for people irrationally wedded to their stocks. I am hedged on Seek so I'd like to hear both sides of the story.
