Tokyo,

I'm sorry for the vagueness. Alex M suggested a vibrating suppository and he and I just went off on a silly riff.

But I do want to say that the Viagra penis-pill phenomenon seems to be like a rising volcano that lifts all the dreck with it.

ZONA and Vasomax may or may not be dreck. I will not make any guesses until the AUA meeting. But I said already that if ZONA has even the slightest bit of good news, that the shorts are going to be slaughtered.

Fundamentals alone (including competitive position, or guesses as to the viability of a product not yet fully evaluated) can be dangerous if used as the sole justification for taking a short position on *anything* that is found in the hot (penis pill) sector of the moment.

I know this very well from "shorting the internet." YHOO and AMZN have lifted all the dreck imaginable, and it keeps going and going and going. Shorts panic and cover to new shorts, and longs cash out only to a whole new generation of mo-mo longs. It just keeps feeding on itself, pushing everything higher than I imagined possible. KTEL "became" a net stock recently, and was an instant seven-bagger.
