OK, one that really bothers me:

The MasterCard commercials, WHY?

BECAUSE they appeal to emotion for you to spend money on the cards. All this in an America with mounting personal debt and a record number of personal bankruptcies each year. I know the business they're in, but the commercials seem very irresponsable (sp?). Have you seen the commercials?

They go something like this:

#1

Price of a manicure - $15
Price of the lace dress - $85
Price of his looks at the high school reunion - Priceless

#2

Price of the ballpark tickets - $50
Price of the hot dog - $3
Price of the smile on your son's face - Priceless

I mean, give me a break! Is it supposed to make me want to go out and max-out my credit cards so I can make everybody in my life happy, jealous, or want me?

Definitely sending the wrong message to this gal,

Clo
