Good, I own some IFMX. Looks like everyone's venting some steam. Yea, IDTI has yet to live up to expectations. The vision of management is gazing in the right direction but just has not been on target (yet) with the "window of opportunity" for the big markets they have gone after. The WinChip II has a lot of big promise but investors are wise to wait for the proof that IDTI can finally deliver to the scale and in the time frame needed to result in bottom line results. I'm sure there are still a handful of companies that make excellent buggy whips - just a little behind the times. OK, that's a ridiculously extreme example but hits the nail on the head in explaining IDTI's lack of performance so far. The 200 Mhz C6 is yesterday's part except for upgrade and some portable applications where the advantages of a low power, single voltage part still has merit. And IDTI has failed misserably in scaling up production.

At the rate IDTI is dropping I will have to revise my guess downward: I said that IDTI would hit 11 this summer. I think it may hit 9. It will take more than new product announcements to make the stock trend upward - it will take a firm promise of earnings growth. That just isn't going to be easy to come by (or be believed) for at least the couple of months.
