cm,

...SEEK & NSCP or will it engage the collective imaginations, talents and energies of Kirsch and Andreesen, Barksdale and Motro?

Sorry, but I can't get too excited about Andreesen teaming up with Kirsch. From what I know of Marc, I'm not all that impressed. From what I've heard, he just doesn't really seem to have the vision that Netscape sorely needs. To cut him some slack, he's still lacking in the experience area. If you think about it, he took a public domain browser, rewrote some of it, and was able to turn around and sell it and make millions (at least for a while). My hats off to him for what he did, but it wasn't really an original idea. I don't really see Andreesen contributing much to us.

I'm having a tough time convincing myself that it makes sense to partner with NSCP, especially if the deal turns out just to be renting eye-balls. Now, the thought of partnering with MSFT doesn't make me feel any better (actually worse). I've seen first-hand how partnerships with MSFT turn out. Believe me, in the end, you'd wish that they had bought you.

Now, DIS, on the other hand makes alot of sense to me and would benefit SEEK the most, IMHO. I guess we shall see if DIS is in the mood to open the purse strings even further.
