i'm doing a refinance of my home with country wide mortgage co.
i asked my very able telephone contact if they were y2k complient....she said they were working on it, so, at least they are aware of it.
a concern.
my cousin, who just returned from belgium in an international business program, said the question never came up.
my concern is that russia and her former states operate "x#" nuke power plants.....if they don't have the cash to run their now individual econominies.....how the hell are they going to find the cash to make sure all valves etc work?

hmmmm

just a long tava holder that sees a global.......ah......problem?

Say what? Most commentators believed, for example, that the United Kingdom was between a year and a year and a half behind the U.S.... and there's only a year a half to go to 2000!
