True on occasion , but to (re)gain mass market share ???

Grant you that the 20th Aniversary Mac sold at $7,000 initially but it later wound up being fire-saled for under $2,000

At $6,300 , it represents stylish mobility with a speed increase , but even a "Mac faithful" businessman's interest may wane when he compares it to owning 2 to 3 PowerPC G3 266 desktops .

O'Grady did note the prices were subject to change before announcement .
