OT-- My vision sees continuous playoffs throughout the calendar year. One team will be eliminated each year, but there will be 5 teams added to each college conference every year. Pro teams will mirror this with expansions into Mudville and Colchester County. All sports will merge to accommodate this. Eventually we will see Casey at the bat in mid court, mid field, or mid Atlantic (Americas Cup), depending upon the particular conference and/or pro franchise. We will field catchers in the rye in pro football, designated hitters in boxing, designated runners in the high hurdles, and designated scouts in the BSA (non-gay in San Francisco).
