J.P. - thanks. I try to keep track of what's happening.

I've talked to quite few people, some connected with the company and its projects and some not. The gaming development business is a tough one to figure out. One thing I've learned is that with the political and social sensitivities involved, often the best policy is to create as little public controversy as possible. This is why Sungold has been unusually quiet. The company has released very few press releases for some good reasons. The business of obtaining government approvals and financing is not conducted in the mass media.

People like J.R. (Ewing?) have a different way of doing business. He's the guy who touted Terrawest on about six unrelated SI sites. He was trying to scam people into buying shares in a sunken treasure hunting company because there was going to be a TV show about it. He bought a membership to SI and on his first day he was posting everywhere that the stock would go to the moon and make us a fortune. The stock actually popped up a dime or two for a few minutes before sinking into the depths again like the slime who promoted it on SI.

Many of the large investors in Sungold have successful backgrounds in real estate development. No doubt, they have been learning something about gaming development, as have the rest of us. I'm quite sure that investors who are intelligent enough to understand Sungold's projects would not be the sort of idiots who would fall for the obviously bogus promotional scam that J.D.R. thought he could foist on readers of SI. Equally, I don't think there will be many Sungold investors who don't see through his clumsy attempts to find shares to cover his short position.
