bobby, Goldilocks, the sequel just hit Wall Street. The federal government just pulled another rabbit at of the hat. Despite a GDP of 4.2%, rising hourly payroll rates over 4% annually, and health care costs projected to rise 4.6% this year, surprise the latest employment cost index dropped to 2.8% annually. Hopefully, someone on the federal reserve board can see what a sham this latest figure is. The White House continues to cook the books. No doubt the employment cost index number will be revised upward later when few are paying attention.

As far as easy credit, check out the number of promotions where you can buy merchandise and your first payment is the following year.

Terry,

Buying a house with 5% down is common. I was stunned when I heard this from my banker the other day. A $250,000 house only requires $12,500 down. Mortgage payment of $1,660 at 7.5% for 30 years, PMI at $190/mo, + taxes and insurance. about %2100/mo in all. Is this nutty or what? And people are lining up.

Bobby:

You are right about the easy credit. Yesterday I received an offer for a credit card. They will credit my account $100.00 for opening an account with them. Sounds crazy to me, but I'm no fool. I took the card.

Live long and prosper,

Little joe
