You must have a strong heart.

The baby can't dance everyday..

Does anyone know what happen to Pirate...He made me laugh.

For those of you who have been around a while. You may recall last years cycle with PAIR. Right about now, people were talking about the stock being such a dog, no future, CSCO entering the market, HDSL being the only money maker.

The gang at Pairgain came in with there usual upbeat (NOT) forecast of the upcoming year. Declining rev's from the Teleco's a possibility, ADSL a year before being a money maker... Yawnnn... Such is the cycle of the tech stocks. You must understand this cycle to make BIG money.

Ok, the stock bottom around $14, then optimism returned, we hit $31 and have progressed (backwards) since then. Nothing new folks.

I hope this stock moves rapidly back to $16 so I don't have to watch it. Then I will pick up a few thousand shares just as I did last year. I currently have on 400 shares remaining so this is a nothing stock, but it is consistant.

Hang on to your shares if you are in high. Dollar average if you have the cash. The integral of cheap shares over time is the best way to make money in the long term. A little rumor or good quarter will run the stock up 30% to 50% and you can move on with a healthy profit.

Good luck.

prrr,
neko

A summary of the H & Q conference:

PairGain

Sparsely attended, dull presentation. With declining margins, managers interest seems to be waning. Although a leader in installed T1 lines, PairGain also has 700K DSL lines installed. As such, it is not valued as an ADSL play, apparently since the success of one business hurts the other. In any event, we were surprised at how little interest was shown by the attendees in this once hot stock. When the bloom is off the rose, it shows.
