If TAVA is indeed going to miss the $0.04 number for the quarter, the Street will probably slam the stock, creating a buying opportunity.

I agree that this is a long term investment, and I am in for the long term. My background is in control systems engineering (although not practicing at the moment), and after reading through much of the literature, I am convinced that TAVA is well positioned to take advantage of the Y2K bug.

I might add that as an engineer for a major food company, we are taking the bug very seriously and planning to spend some big bucks addressing the problem. I have worked before with one of the TAVA executives, and am convinced that they have a good management team.

I intend to increase my already hefty position on any dips. Perhaps an earnings disappointment after the next release will present a good opportunity.

Long TAVA since under 4, so I guess i'm a "believer," but all this messing with language is a bit of a bother.
What is an "estimate" if not one's "expectation?" Which to believe?

Imagine interviewing for a job and hearing, "Our "estimate" of your future salary is $XXX, but we "expect" you'll be making only half that."

Hopefully after NMS, we'll get some additional coverage.

If anyone can post or link the Hanifen report, please do, unless it's not intended for public viewing.

After reading the most recent posts my guess is that Hannifen lowered the estimate because Tava told them(in so many words) to do so. Hannifen (who did the private placement and wrote research report) is going to be the "main man" as far as Tava in concerned. So I would look for less than .04 for the quarter. This should not surprise anyone, many on this thread have felt that this was not going to be the blowout quarter. That is one of the reasons that I have cautious the last few weeks. I now see earnings as a non event, since most will not sell if they miss the .04 and many will buy if the stock gets hit.
The stock is currently waiting around for the earning and CC thus lack of movement and volume. I said a few weeks ago that I was looking for a sign that someone would know what the earning by the way the stock was trading. Well.. looks like non event.
