Gene,

I'm with you! Let's sell this puppy before it poops on the carpet or, worse yet, it grows into a dog. It is a great company, but if wall street does not recognize it what good is it? What shall be buy with the proceeds?

Phil

Eugene, I wonder what you mean by not talking about how to improve their financial performance. Since 1996, their revenues and earning have gone up 15-20+% year to year, profit margins have gone up. Return on equity is at all time high without taking on any significant debts, and with increasing equity. Cash reserve looks decent. It's all in their annual report if you care to read. I found very little in their reports about how to screw microsoft. Did you? I understand your frustration about the performance of this stock. Keep in mind that cpq and intc used to go through the same thing! Between IBM and SUNW, which one do you prefer to own? IBM has been taking on huge amount of debts to buy back their shares, and if you take that out, IBM's eps is actually flat or descending in recent years!
Just my humble opinion, of course.
