Bob,keep up the good work....I thoroughly enjoy reading your eloquently written view on investing.Cramer needs to take some English lessons from you..I thought run-on sentences was considered poor grammar.then again who teaches our kids grammar these days.

Incidentlly,have been to Tucson a couple of times including the beautiful Ventana Canyon resort at the base of the Catalina Mts.

Bob,

The deffered maintenance number is a GOOD number, not a bad one. It means customers are buying more service. However, the customer pays the money for 1 year up front and then it is amortized over a 12 month period. You want this balance sheet item to keep going up. It is not the same as the channel stuffing license revenue carried on the books.

As for Europe, that is where most of the restatement issues came from. They needed to clean house there. It has taken a while to backfill though. But now they have the slots filled. Turnover and layoffs were also heavy in Europe.
