not sure i agree with your logic. here's another way to look at. may 10 call for 7/8. robt. has .875 in the bank but he has limited his upside. he can't make more than that. what are chances that ifmx will go above 10.875 before may 10. that is subjective but i would say much better than 50% after today's news. so, imo, he has a better than even chance of losing some money and reasonable chance of losing out on a lot. of course, bob sold his calls before the earnings came out and the risk/reward was different then.
