Howard, thanks for your input. If we get too far into the future Spots reins us in. I think we are more of a here and now type of a thread.

It surprises me how long it takes to implement new technologies. I have USB on all of my new machines (purchased within the last 12 months) It has been disabled on some due to conflicts and simply left unused on others as I have no peripherals (not many on the market yet) and no/limited OS support.

Will NT 5 support USB? Even before Win98 hits the street we are being told it is the last in the series in the migration to NT.

I hope others don't have problems accessing the URL locations in my message on USB, Firewire, and Device Bay. When I checked this morning by clicking on any of the URLs in the message all I got was an HTTP error. However, if you copy the URL to the clipboard and then paste the URL in the "Location" drop down list, you can access any of the locations. I would appreciate it if any one could explain the inconsistency.
