Wisam,

<<Any thoughts of how good the release is?>>

I pulled the following quotes from different articles that have circulated on the web recently:

"The quality of diamonds can be split broadly into gem, near gem, industrial and boart categories. In rare cases 90% of diamonds in a deposit are of gem quality; but most economic deposits contain 20 to 40% gem quality diamonds."

CK reported approximatly 70% of the stones are gem quality.

"How many diamonds per 100 tons? (this is the industry standard measurement DeBeers uses for comparison).... 20 carats/100 tons and we have a winner... 30 plus and we have an even bigger winner..."

CK has 213 / (3714 / 100) = 5.74 carats per 100 tonnes. Apparently, that's not economical ... BUT ... the release goes on to state that "a significant portion of the diamonds was not recovered by the plant."

So, we have some good news and some not so good news (which isn't necessarily bad news). I'm encouraged. They MUST be encouraged. You just don't embark on an expensive drilling program if you didn't think you had something viable.
