What is very strange is that I have equal disgust toward all things Catholic, stemming from the earliest moments of Constantine's totally pagan vision, and subsequent totally pagan marriages that plunged the believers of Jesus Christ into the most horrible darkness for centuries, and if they came OUT of that darkness, believe me, the next light they saw was flames coming up from the straw and wood stacked all around their feet. A totally true story.

I believe that if I were to rail one 10th of my anger toward what evil humans working for satan have done in the name of the Romish Church, I would have lost people here I hold extremely dear.

Loose cannon out of control solve no problems. That's the problem.

Also, the "New Covenant" of Jesus now on the mercy seat rather than some pathetic frightened bovine surrounded by people who just want to get it's slaughter over with is rather apparent and doesn't need a whole lot of explanation I hope to anyone with even a small segment of working brain left.

The term "covenant" in the New T: once in Luke "to remember it"
(the old one.) when Zacharias is FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT (of Jesus CHrist, right?) and says things which should be individually read in Luke 67-72 for full meaning.

That's it, folks. In the life of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, there is not a word from His mouth to erase or negate the original covenant made to the only people on earth who were not openly worshiping various forms of stone to which tiny babies were burned in a huge happy sex orgy of the inhabitants of that area.

The only people who weren't doing this at that point were some genetic Babylonias recently out of Ur near the city of Babylon, and recently married to surrounding pretty women from baby burning pagan tribes of Cannanites.

When we all come to our senses here, I will be much happier and will feel like discussing things.

The only mention of NEW COVENANT in the entire Bible is written in aobut 6 lines in Hebrews 8 6-10. The rest of the covenant references are to the original one, to remind everyone of it and perhaps even to tear it down a little if you want to see that but I can't remember anything but reminding.

You are saved from the LAW. The Covenant was not dismissed in any way. The poor pathetic animals now simply go directly to the slaughterhouse for food and there is no longer a pretense that killing them is somehow a divine act.

I think God set up the slaughter of animals for sin to be so evil, so unfair and so DISGUSTING that PEOPLE WOULD STOP SINNING!!!!!!

But that's just me. What do I know, huh?

Anyway, no one here is without blame. There is error on every post I've ever seen, and mine included, almost without exception. Because the Bible never did away with the Old Covenant in meaning, just in animal slaughter. The LAW is perfect. If we followed every single tiny little dumb thing of it, we would in fact be rather sinless and have no time for evil porn searching and having affairs or looking for ways to cheat legally.

So, I for one have little problem with monks who spend their lives in total prayer and fasting or Jews who spend their days in endless mindless ritual. It is in fact the Love and Relationship with Jesus Christ however that will determine whether they live forever and ever with God and His Son. God REALLY loves His Son, you know. God has GIVEN His Son the Kingdom. And we are MADE in the image of the Father, and therefore are capable of an inkling of his though pattersn. If you had a huge estate and adored one son who deserved it, and said all who are the friends of the soncan live and be his friends and companions until they died free and clear, and just have a wonderful time enjoying the company of your son--would you then extend that goodness to people who hated your son and had caused Him harm?

Just a thought to ponder--especially by the fools here who come and say that there is no God to begin with, and if he had a son, the son was probably as evil and homosexual as they tend to be. apparently the people who accuse Jesus of horrible impurities do so because they themselves are incapable of purity and cannot comprehend it.

That's my only explanation for what I've seen spoken of matters of Jesus Christ. Were I God the Father, yes, I believe I might reign down fire from Heaven. He doesn't do that overtly anymore, but then perhaps He still actually does. We just don't know, do we?

I'm having trouble with your logic here, Yaacov,

You rightly scold an anti-semite and then in the next breath you compliment a woman who voices prejudice against catholics.

If a person has intolerance for any religion or race on earth, they are bigots.

If we want the world to be a better place, humans should just try to do as much good as they can while on earth. They don't have to get hung up on unimportant details of religion--past or present.

Just be GOOD = GOD (everyones GOD)

This is l998. Let's drop the religious labels and just treat each other the way we want to be treated--with respect.

A good weekend to all.

Ann
