Zack's now showing LSI is now at 5 s.buys, 5 buys and 8 holds. This averages to 2.17 which means LSI has seen (by far? - see below) the "biggest" change in positive analyst ratings in the last little while. See post 12062 as well. From that list here are the +ve improvements section updated here only for change in LSI rating (can't be bothered looking at everyone again): ---- Stock Current Rating Change over the past 3 months (+ is good) Stocks that the Street has developed a greater fondess of over the past 3 months: LSI 2.17 +0.55* ALTR 1.83 +0.35 ADI 1.27 +0.33 AMD 2.63 +0.20 MU 2.25 +0.20 TXN 1.83 +0.17 XLNX 1.57 +0.06 MXIM 1.35 +0.00 * updated 5/8 all others current as of 5/1 ---- To put this into perspective LSI has had the equivalent of about 10 upgrades in the last 3 months. (Here 10 means I'm counting 1 upgrade as a change in 1 level - from buy to s. buy; if things had gone hold to s.buy there would have 2 upgrades.) Also must caveat by saying that when a stock is at say 1.50 it is harder to make a +0.34 change than when a stock is at 2.50. It gets harder the close to 1.00 you are. No matter - on an absolute basis the results stand. ---- Also officially putting to bed that list that was going to have bonehead comments from analysts post c.call. There were none (at least I am not aware of any making negative comments - as well they should! It was a very good c.call). ---- Shane.
