Excellent article on alternative programing methods for solving Y2K:

ddj.com

This is it in a nutshell. The best I've seen.

NANDA, After SYNT weakened today I sold an additional 1250 shares for 25,000 $ profit. Hate to take more short term gains. I still don't like Y2K sector price performance and am afraid SYNT may be it harder than it has been by others taking profits.I hope IMRS strenghtens soon as I now have over 100 calls. I listened to COGIF conference call and believe they have strong competitive position in Canadian market. I still have sizeable loss in CoGIF. Not sure how long I will hold.
