<< Okay, what are the opinions about the chances of improving my cost basis during this stagnant period/quarter? Would you consider selling and looking for that point or two drop to lower the cost basis? >>

Hi, Fred. Like you, I have been in since early last fall, but accumulated slowly and averaged down to about 23 cost basis. Personally, I would be scared to death to try and time this one by selling now and expecting to buy back a couple of points cheaper, for fear of being left at the station. Since all my CYMI is in an IRA, I have a long term view, and will continue to accumulate below 22. I may lighten up some in the neighborhood of 30.

SVGI's moving, anything other than a bottom bounce? Looks like CYMI might get moving as well if it can break out of this rt triangle.

Fred,

I agree with George about being afraid of being left at the station. I don't think the risk is worth the point or two you might gain. Of course I had the same thoughts months ago which allowed me to ride this thing down to 15 and back. Leave that stuff to the day traders.
CYMI is going back to it's old highs and then some in my opinion. The question is when. Sometime between six months and 18 months is my guess from here. The whole world is predicting a huge surge in 99 for Semi's and stock prices will lead it by six months, just like the price drop led this weak period by six months, obviously many of us couldn't (didn't want) to see it then.
