Just curious - everyone is making a point of the MM shortselling, which is probably the case, but what about MMs going long? Isn't that possible with a BB, or any stock for that matter? Why on earth wouldn't they do that knowing the fundamental solidity of the company and the buying pressure coming in.

Hi,

This may be one reason. I have a bid in to buy tgsk at 1.25, no bids are in front of me. I decide the market is moving and want to by the stock, so I change my bid to offer and buy the stock. The bid now moves to next bid because mine is n longer there. food for thought.
