Frank,

Sorry if I generalized, ...but I confirmed with my broker (TD Evergreen) that you can't margin a TSE stock below $3. Perhaps there is some buffer where you won't get the margin call until it drops down to $2. My broker at Evergreen thinks that TD Greenline has the same $3 policy. I know that I've had negative margin with these guys for weeks on end, with no call.
