That is the million, no billion dollar question. Will AMZN command the same loyalty that AOL commands?

To answer the question that you asked in your earlier post, "No, I do not want to read what Dennis Rodman writes." As a matter of fact, I doubt seriously that he knows how to write. i also know that he is not the reason AOL is successful.

Their loyal following comes from the content
they provide. Many people addict to places like
Motley Fools. Even if they already have an ISP
account, they will still keep an AOL account.

Those are my thoughts exaclty. AMZN has nothing more to offer than B&N. However, AOL does have content the local provider does not have. AMZN is a commodity item and loyalty means a bag of peanuts when it comes to retail. Kmart had the discount store market locked up. Walmart cam along and displaced their dominance. It appears the Kmart customer was not that loyal. There is no loyalty in retail. There is name recognition but you may forget loyalty.
