Kp,
Thanks. Atleast you take time to answer and are usually outspoken. yes. i admit that i follow IOM everyday though i don't do anything except to hold my IOM. reason is simply because it occupies major portion of my portfolio. I admit that i am one of those dreamers who think IOM will eventually win the war with floppy or in other words, this will be the leader of removable drive market. Like you said, i may be making a mistake of holding when the fundamentals have changed but the problem is how are you so sure that fundamentals have changed? Still Zip is the market leader in their segment and Sony's Zip killer can't even be 'demo'ed when the initial promised date was spring release. Do you think a product which can't be demoed by end of April will be released in Sept in volume to hit the Christmas season? I am very suspicious about this. Also, Zip will be 3 1/2 years old by Fall and will have enormous advantage in having massive installed base, lots of experience learnt etc etc while HiFD has to start from scratch.

I also want to see how the new management can turn around things. If the guy from Dell and one from Gateway are as good as their past, then won't you think they can take IOM to next level. In the past whenever i sold when things were ugly, i always repented later to see the same stock laughing at me at multiple times. I admit that this is one more reason for me to have a wait and see approach - i.e fear of missing the big opportunity later. I am not good at timing things and there is a good chance that i will miss the run up of IOM later if i sell now (assuming there is a run up in the future).

OK. This is my story. I know i am taking a big chance giving some credit to the curent market leader. yes. if i am wrong, i may repent later but anyway that's my own decision and i am young enough to make up that mistake later on.

Thanks again for your comments and also people who share information in this thread.
