Thanks 'rude' for that anecdote nothing like personal experience but reading the following excerpt from the same article makes one wonder! I sure hope some of the people who are leaving CPQ and coming Dell's way.

Among the 15% of respondent companies who have switched from one major notebook vendor to another in the past 12 months, 44% of them replaced Compaq as their vendor, due primarily to poor service, poor reliability, and price issues.

I take it you might be one of them if so what did you buy???Just curious.

I own a Compaq Presario 1075 laptop (Pentium MMX - 150MHZ). Bought it last Spring, use it a good amount....haven't had one problem with it yet.
