Universal Data Option is the new name for the old Universal Server capability--the "Object Software" you are asking about. Also note all the references to "Datablades". Note that this is an area where IFMX has little real competition. IBM does not seem to know how to promote their story, and Sybase is having a lot of problems across their whole line. Oracle is still far from giving the users anything here other than a few prepackaged solutions. Microsoft has NOTHING in this area.
