Waterhouse just called me a second time about a check for $500 which they claim to have lost.

What are my rights? It'll cost me time and money to get a stop check (time mainly in the time I have to sit on the phone with Chase). Hell, they want me to wait 20 minutes on the phone to answer their voicemail about this check. That's my money, too...

Do I have to give them another check? I've got a receipt!

This is the most ridiculous thing that has every happened to me with a brokerage...
