Tom,>>>Nobody is bigger than the market in the long run. If TK is wrong about INTC, he will not cause lasting damage to INTC's stock price. <<<

In the same way no one person is bigger than collegiate basketball - but can a nationally syndicated sports columnist from a major news organization with a vendetta (or one trying to maintain a personal reputation) against coach K and the Blue Devils have a long term impact on their national rankings?

Perhaps Duke is a bad example since they enjoy such good press - but maybe Louisville, Temple, Penn State football, and wherever Tarkanian coaches - their fans may feel differently.

The point is, this world is not perfect - everything will not eventually come out in the wash. In this imperfect world where personal gratification, self promotion, hype and greed is not unknown - individuals can put themselves (with the help of a powerful organization behind them)in a position to influence and move things their way for the purpose of amassing wealth without contributing anything value added.

Let me know more about what you think after you have been away for a while from that idyllic golden triangle in NC.

Regards,

Mary
