>>>CS, what do you make of this pop this afternoon on relatively light volume and no news?<<< Absolutely nothing...the momentum is AMZN is gone, the market was up a lot at the end of the week and I think it was just a little bit of short covering or whatever. Doesn't really matter. What matters more is that with ALL the good(?) news out for AMZN, the earnings report the revenue numbers etc., the stock could not break the high, but rather, encountered heavy block selling at the highs. I believe that the stock is now somewhat technically weakened by the recent drop to 77 and as more of the details of this 500 million dollar senior discount note become available the stock should pick up some downside momentum.
