Particularly confusing to me was that in Jul/Aug ASMLF was crowing about their Asian market penetration v. SVGI which has very little. I guess I will add it to the increasingly long list of things that I am too dull to understand.

Brian, I think they started to humble Asmlf today.
This might be a wonderful, short/put.

Brian: I think I can answer that part of your question as it relates to ASMLF. Nikon has seen its market share fall from around 50% at the beginning of 1996 to 44% at the end of 1997. Canon has slipped from around 29% to 22%. Do you think UTEK, SVGI and ISI have been eating their lunch? Nope. ASMLF has been doing that and has increased its market share to around 25%. UTEK has about 3%, SVGI is at 5.5% and ISI is at .5%.
