Hi stock talk,

The folks over at Yahoo! seem to think Intel is going to buy out S3. I'm sure after buying CHPS last year, INTC really needs another 3D company. No brain, no pain.

I decided to straddle my long position with some puts on the theory that if it looks too good to be true, it's probably too good to be true. We'll see.

It seems a bit odd that DIMD and STBI are both taking it on the chin on the same day that S3 is soaring. Does one have anything to do with the other? Does S3 sell to any add-in card makers anymore? What do you think about STBI at this price? Market cap only $140M for former hi-flyer.
