Apple did fairly well late today. I would guess that the following announcement had something to do with it.

Guess that is the Wallstreet debut which should be good for qtr revenues. For what it worth. IBM Thinkpad 770s were selling at about $5500 with DVD player, 14.3" screen, NTSC in/out, USB, 32 Megs ram etc. I tried to get one for a job a few months ago and couldn't touch them, backordered 4 weeks or so. If Wallstreet has a good feature set with DVD etc. I'd say they would be a good seller between $5500-$6000.
