Want to know what the lesson is? Never buy and hold a software stock-MSFT being the only exception. Take a look at the list of victims. Oracle,Informix,Applix,Citrix,Security Dynamics,Macromedia,Broderbund, etc. I'm sure I've missed plenty of others. Trade them only. Don't waste a lifetime waiting for a moment that will never come.
