sute yourself your a big boy and its your money, but let me tell you something, if I would of kept my original dell investment 4 years ago I wouldn't be posting to you I'd be in the south of France with my cousins.

I've tried that (selling Dell) last summer. I was terrible at timing it. There was a period last August where I lost about 20% trading. It started down, I sold. As soon as I sold, it started up, and I bought. So it would go back down. I think you get the point. I also used part of my account to buy Dell on margin in early October, panicked when it took that big drop and bought Compaq leaps. Dell is up 100%. Compaq leaps are down 50% (although they may recover in the next month or two). Good luck!

PS: When I learn using my own money, I tend to retain the lesson longer.
