Zack's now has the low estimate for FY 1999 at only 60c. Some are expecting a loss for all of 1998. They obviously believe DSC will not be getting that MCI-Worldcom bus back after the merger, despite what DSC is saying. Much fear also that interviews to replace Donald not going well due to applicants' fears that Donald will be looking over his or her shoulder; that was the basis of analyst's question during conf call whether DSC would be a repeat of the past AT&T problem with Allen. Best thing is for Donald to leave completely right now and for DSC to appoint an interim head. He needs to leave right away or this search is going to drag on and on, and DSC will not get the best applicant.
Re Cellcore, they had $4-5 million in sales for the Q, while DSC paid over $160 million for it. Something is not right with that.
