The company's new management team includes: Gary Cope of Kamloops, British Columbia, president; Gregory Myers Ph.D., of Reno, Nevada, vice-president, exploration and director; Lawrence Page, QC, of Vancouver, director; Dale Janowsky of Kamloops, director; Robert J. Gayton, FCA, of Vancouver, CFO; Bette J. Geddes of Vancouver, corporate secretary. Continuing as a director and vice-president is former president Victor Lahmer of Vancouver. Mr. Gary Cope has been a senior account executive at Nesbitt Burns, prior to which he served in marketing management for a Canadian insurance provider. He has been involved with the merger and acquisitions of a number of Canadian small cap mining companies. Dr. Greg Myers is a recognized expert in assessment and evaluation of gold-copper skarns and porphyry copper settings. The new management group is undertaking a review of all available technical data on its property in the San Simon region of northeastern Bolivia (see Stockwatch dated March 27, 1998). It is anticipated that the recently announced private placement of five million units at 28 cents will raise funds for continued exploration. Other members of the new management team have significant experience in the resource sector. Both Mr.Page and Mr.Gayton were associated for several years with Prime Resources Corporation and are now directors/officers of a number of public companies, including Western Copper Holdings Limited.
