"Ignorance is bliss."

There are alot of blissfully happy people out there now. Used to look forward to the market tanking. Not anymore. I used to think of Wall Street as just alot of big institutions, but now I read the hopes of grandmas and young couples on message boards and in the papers who just don't get it. I'll make money, but I won't enjoy the event that brings it. Remember the PBS documentary a few months back on the market, where the young couple talked about the hot tip they got, invested all their money, and all they knew was the ticker symbol?

By the way, check out "Extraordinary Popular Delusions & the Madness of Crowds" by Mackay. Tulip Mania,Mississippi Bubble and more. Written almost 150 years ago but still applicable today. (Onsale at Borders Outlet for $3.98, ironic isn't it?)
