Thanks for the elaboration. You clearly perceive the interconnected nature of the world economy and how computer power makes it all possible.

As for Alan Greenspan, in the last three speeches I heard him give he has gone TO GREAT LENGTHS to PRAISE TECHNOLOGY as the foundation for the United States current economic success and the low inflation environment that surrounds it.

Greenspan has great appreciation for all this and I sometimes think he "holds back" in mentioning INTEL by name as the "fuel provider" for the U.S. economic engine.
