Chucky, I never thought that the LS 120 was a significant threat to IOM. I have always maintained that the HiFD is the threat. Of course, this is just my opinion. I have no facts that support the HiFD and the possibility of the drive cutting into IOM's sales. In fact, the HiFD many fail to gain any significant market share. However, I believe the HiFD will give IOM a run for their money.

Maybe the consortium couldn't get the market share that they were looking for because people just didn't want the LS 120 and prefer to buy the Zip and Jaz drives.
